Chennai based company Infrastructure Development Finance Company *on a standalone* basis announced a sharp drop in standalone net profit for the quarter ended December 2008. During the quarter, the profit of the company declined 13.08% to Rs 1,726.79 million from Rs 1,986.70 million in the same quarter last year.
Net sales for the quarter rose 14.88% to Rs 7,913.10 million, while total income for the quarter rose 14.82% to Rs 7,944.37 million, when compared with the prior year period.
