Light and battery major Eveready Industries launched Ultima batteries suited for the high-end power gadgets like digital cameras, MP3 players.
Eveready Industries vice president Ravi Grover said that these batteries based on alkaline technology suited for the high-end power hungry gadgets like digital cameras, MP3 players and high-end toys. "These batteries come in AA, AAA and 9-volt sizes and are priced at Rs 30 for a set of two pieces," he said. The company also launched a range of rechargeable batteries and CFLs in the range of 5-25 W. "We are now aiming to expand its range up to 85 W to tap the CFL market in the country," he said, adding that the company plans to grow its business by investing in R&D.
