Shree Renuka Sugars leads gainers in A group Shree Renuka Sugars surged 3.70% to Rs 186.55 after the company signed an agreement with the Brazilian conglomerate Grupo Equipav to buy a 50.79% in Equipav S A Acucar e Alcool (Equipav) for Rs 1530 crore. The stock topped the gainers in the BSEs A group.
Hindalco Industries moved up 2.60% to Rs 153.65. The stock was the second biggest gainer in A group. Oriental Bank of Commerce advanced 2.50% to Rs 270.20. The stock was the third biggest gainer in A group. Hindustan Petroleum Corporation gained 2.30% to Rs 362.55. The stock was the fourth biggest gainer in A group. As per recent reports, the company is planning to increase the number of retail outlets in rural areas, which generate over 20% of its top line. REI Agro rose 2.03% to Rs 50.15.
