* ATLANTA : Has got engineering, procurement and construction order for
four-laning of a portion of Lucknow-Sultanpur highway.

* BHARAT HEAVY ELETRICALS: Is close to winning a contract worth 10 bln
rupees from Pakistan to manufacture railway locomotives.

* BOMBAY DYEING & MANUFACTURING CO: Is taking its textile brand overseas
and has set up its first franchise-operated store in Jeddah , Saudi Arabia .

* COAL INDIA: Coal minister Sriprakash Jaiswal has said the deadlock over
fuel supply agreements between the company and power companies may be
settled by end-July.

* ESSAR PORTS: Has received formal communication from the Paradip Port
Trust to start construction of coal berth after it got environment approval.

* INFOTECH ENTERPRISES: Private equity firm First Carlyle Ventures has
bought nearly 10% stake in the company at 190 rupees a share.

* JET AIRWAYS INDIA : Plans to pull out of some loss-making routes and will
not renew leases for aircrafts servicing these routes.

* KESORAM INDUSTRIES: Has put all expansion plans on hold to focus on
turning around current operations.

* KINGFISHER AIRLINES: At least 12 flights of the airline were cancelled
Wednesday as pilots continued to strike protesting non-payment of salaries.

* NILA INFRASTRUCTURES: Has set up a project management consultancy
services company in joint venture with Progetto Consultants India.

* OIL INDIA: Has earmarked 60 bln rupees for acquisition of oil and gas
assets overseas this fiscal.

* ONMOBILE GLOBAL: Ministry of corporate affairs could order a probe by
Serious Fraud Investigation Office if a preliminary inquiry by the
Registrar of Companies brings up irregularities.

* PVR: SBI Mutual Fund has sold 500,000 shares, or 1.93% stake in the
company, for a total of 84.98 mln rupees on Jul 6.

* RELIANCE INDUSTRIES: The company's launch of 4G services is scheduled for
early 2013. Is offering to pay 220 basis points more than benchmark rates
for a five-year facility to cut its borrowing costs.

* RELIANCE POWER: Has tied up loans worth $1.1 bln from Chinese lenders for
upcoming 3,960 MW Sasan power plant in Madhya Pradesh.

* SATYAM COMPUTER SERVICES: Is in talks to acquire an aerospace engineering
firm in Europe to expand capabilities.
* STEEL AUTHORITY OF INDIA : The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs may
take a call on divestment of 10.8% government stake in the company today.
