The student will participate in a three year NASA-funded research project that will use remote sensing data to assess vegetation in arctic tundra, in collaboration with researchers at Boston University, the USGS, and Scott Polar Research Institute at Cambridge University. Previous experience in remote sensing, ecology, modeling, GIS, and statistics is essential. Highly developed quantitative and programming skills are advantageous.
