With over 20 years of international experience and a dynamic approach to capacity building – involving research and analysis, demonstration sites, and training products – RECOFTC delivers innovative solutions for people and forests. RECOFTC is seeking suitably qualified and experienced Indonesians national, to fill the roles of Training Coordinator and Accounts and Administrative Officer for RECOFTC Country Office in Indonesia. Training Coordinator will work out of the RECOFTC-Indonesia Country Program Office located Jakarta under the direct supervision of the Program Coordinator (PC), and in liaison with RECOFTC’s Capacity Building Services team in Bangkok. The Training Coordinator is responsible for developing a series of training modules for central and provincial Forestry Agency and NGO staff, Community Forestry institutions and local government representatives, designing appropriate forms of capacity development activities to suit the needs of target audiences. The overall objective of such training is to build the capacity of stakeholders so that existing and new community forests are legally recognized and are functioning effectively. Accounts and Administration Officer works under the direct supervision of the Country Program Officer, and in liaison with RECOFTC’s Manager of Corporate Services, Accounting, Human Resources and Administration team in Bangkok. The Accounts and Administration Officer is responsible for maintaining every aspect of the RECOFTC Indonesia office accounts. They prepare project accounts for submission to RECOFTC and project donors on a monthly basis, and ensure that the office administration runs efficiently.
