Organizational Context Under the supervision of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) Project Manager and overall guidance of the Representative UNODC Regional Centre Bangkok, the Project Associates ensure the overall development, coordination, organization and implementation of the project. The Project Associates work in close collaboration with the program and project staffs in the Regional Office and work with anti corruption institutions like KPK, AGO, National Police and Supreme Court in strengthening the fight against corruption in Indonesia in order to enhance the rule of law in the country. II. Functions / Key Results Expected Summary of Key Functions: • Support to formulation of project program strategies, implementation, monitoring and evaluation • Support to management of the project activities • Project administrative support • Facilitation of knowledge building and knowledge sharing Duties and Responsibilities 1. Supports formulation of project program strategies, implementation, monitoring and evaluation focusing on achievement of the following results: • Organization and coordination of the implementation of all project activities, including organization of regulatory training seminars, national workshops, law enforcement training courses • Preparation of documentation including project reports (annual and final report) background materials, training courses and meetings, briefing notes, working papers, etc • Presentation of background information for formulation of project program, draft project documents, work plans, budgets, proposals on implementation arrangements • Facilitation and monitoring work with NGOs and civil society • Coordination and control of the implementation of the project work plan, including recruitment of training courses, seminars, workshops and meetings • Carrying out anti corruption campaigns and programmes in various provinces. 2. Provides effective support to management of the project focusing on the achievement of the following results: • Preparation of required budget revisions, revision of project award and project status, determination of un-utilized funds, operational and financial close of a project. • Provision of guidance to the partner agencies on routine implementation of projects. • Presentation of information for project and supports implementation of audit recommendations. 3. Provides project administrative support focusing on achievement of the following results: • Review of project Financial Reports • Preparation of semi and annual project reports. • Review of financial and program reports of partner agencies 4. Provides support to knowledge building and knowledge sharing , focusing on achievement of the following results: • Participation in the workshops, seminars, training course and meetings as a resource person • Establishment of necessary working relations with the Supreme Court Representatives and the Attorney General’s Office as well as the Judiciary and Prosecutorial Officers. III. Impact of Results The key results have an impact on the overall success of the project objectives of the UNODC relating to anti corruption. Competencies IV. Recruitment Qualifications Education: • University degree in criminology, law, related disciplines or equivalent academic training from a recognized national police, customs or other training college, with specialization in the judiciary and criminal investigation into cases of corruption. Experience: • At least 4 years experience working in a Government Agency, universities or NGOs relating to criminal justice, solid waste, mass communication or related fields. Experience in working with a UN agency would be desirable Language Requirements: • Excellent command of English and Bahasa Indonesian both spoken and written.
