The CBL course focuses on the identification of competences of students, the assessment of these competences and the translation into organisational changes of education (and policy making) institutes and specific curriculum development. The VCD course focuses on the design and implementation of comprehensive and coordinated interventions for pro-poor economic growth for all value chain actors, including resource-poor producers. At the end of the course you will be able to explore and debate the consequences of a CBL approach in your own work context. You will learn to identify competences, develop assessments methods and introduce organisational changes to support the further development of CBL int the curriculum. Finally, you will be coached on your personal development plan aiming to apply competence based learning principles in your own work place reality. You will learn how to design and steer program interventions that promote equitable growth.
