On behalf of the Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of

Melbourne, I invite you to be our guest at a Jakarta Public Seminar on Wednesday, 18

August 2010, presented by Dr Tom Davis.

 

Dr Davis lectures in politics and his current research projects focus on the tension

between development and foreign a id , social accountability and sustainable development,

and human rights and development with a focus on the Asia Pacific region. Dr Davis

collaborates with the Australian Council for International Development (ACFID), Oxfam

Australia, World Vision Australia , and the Nossal Institute for International Health.

The Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences was launched by the Faculty

of Arts in 2009, and aims to be a global leader in graduate education. We offer over 20

postgraduate MA programs to 800 graduate coursework students, and around 600 higher
