Hi Chris, This is very much on our radar. We're working on this now. There is a long standing bug to address this (http://bugzilla.ecoinformatics.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1750). We're still in a bit of flux about how to properly handle objects within a kar file. Hopefully we'll figure this out soon.
