sir, I managed to download the ".bin" file of the JRE. And used the cmd :- *sh /home/deepika/Download/jre-6u18-linux-x64-rpm.bin*
Hence it finally gave me an error :- *Unpacking... Checksumming... Extracting... /home/deepika/Download/jre-6u18-linux-x64-rpm.bin: line 368: ./install.sfx.3326: cannot execute binary file*.
