Alternatively, if you are using kinit from the command-line, you can use the "-5" option to tell it to just use krb5. Unfortunately, leash has no such option, so you'd have to get rid of the krb4 DLL in that case.

Can I put something into krb.con or krbrealm.con so it doesn't waste it's time? It does seem to get the v5 ticket successfully.
