I'm using Kerberos 1.2.2 on RedHat 7.2. I'm trying to set up a slave server using kprop, but it keeps saying
kprop: Bad encryption type while getting initial ticket I've done a google search for this error message and found something in this newsgroup at http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&selm=964462337.629617%40sidehack.sat.gweep.netwhich which suggested putting some magic runes in kdc.conf. It still doesn't work. Can someone please explain exactly what is going on? And can I fix it without starting from scratch? Thanks, Paul.
