The last time I had an issue with getting telnet working your advice was instrumental
in getting things working. However, I have a new problem that I am hoping you can help
with.

I am trying to get a Solaris box to be able to telnet to my linux box (which happens
to be the kdc). I notice 2 things happening that do not make sense to me.

1. One the kdc if I add princ root/solarismachine and then do a ktadd
root/solarismachine
        kinit seems to start failing.

2. Getting around the kinit problem when I telnet from the Solaris machine to the
linux server I get the message thats in the title. Any ideas why the server would
return such a message? Any advice on getting around this error?

thanks again,
Rich
