I don't think this qualifies as new at all. Since you are not able to provide accurate information about your problem, you are going to have to rely on your own resources for the most part.
The key point that you have to accept, is that when you get this error `No principal in keytab matches desired name', it's due to either the most trivially obvious cause: A. the remote host hasn't been set up with its own ftp key, or if that isn't the problem, it has to be B. the ftp client uses a different name for the host than the host uses for itself. There are various ways to diagnose the latter problem, but of course they are not very useful where the actual host names have to be cloaked in mystery.
