r6127 & r6131 have been re-merged into this new branch since i've
already manually patched them into production.
I don't expect any commits on this branch, hopefully SEARCH-4196 is
fixed quickly, but it exists just in case anybody must update sesat in
production in the meantime.
Thanks. I will update beta with this one. And I have to commit one
change, r6146.
