Yes, I'm running 2006.0 (community) and have the 18.uc along the .17 and I can confirm .17 boots graphically and 18.uc does not (using lilo). However, I know I've played with the drakxtool in charge of designing a new theme some times ago. I'll try to uninstall the 18.uc (and remove any suspicious file in /boot) and resintall it.
