Attached two .config files and a specfile patch for getting

If you could also please investigate why the ppc.config is the most time
consuming config to be generated (e.g. run create_configs). Really, it's
hanging somewhere. Only ppc32 is affected.

Now you're talking about the regular mandriva kernel I suppose. I never used that ppc.config or create_configs, so maybe I haven't seen this problem. The files I used for the current version are at:
  http://www.time4t.net/~cjw/mdk-cooker-ppc/kernel-2.6/kernel-2.6.14-2mdk/

Feel free to merge them, the plain src.rpm doesn't build for ppc32 anyway. Note that the 'power4' patches are obsolete because those kernel flavours are not built anymore since they're unsupported upstream. And I don't know how to select the patch name prefix, so those may have to be changed.
