Hi!

 The next -uc for i386 is already available at:

http://distro2.conectiva.com.br/~lcapitulino/mdv_kernels/uc/2.6.12.25.uc3mdk/

 and will be available for x86_64 in the next hours at:

http://tmb.kkc.fi/Kernels/2006.0/x86_64/uc/2.6.12.25.uc3mdk/

 Changelog:

* Wed Aug 16 2006 Luiz Capitulino <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 2.6.12-25.uc3mdk
  o Luiz Capitulino <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
    - Don't allow chmod() on the /proc/<pid>/ files
    - Completely initialize hw_regs_t in ide_setup_ports
      (patch from Thiago Galesi ([EMAIL PROTECTED])
    - Fixed a local DoS found by Robert Riches <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>. This
      bug was introduced by an incomplete version of the fix for CVE-2006-2445
      (#24145)

  o Gwenole Beauchesne <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
    - Enable hugetlbfs
    - Fix 8core patch wrt. CONFIG_HOTPLUG_CPU
    - Add support for bcm 5780
    - Xen updates:
      * Fix 32-bit chroot in 64-bit xen0
      * Fix networking on Napa platforms in dom0
    - Merge local patches to Xen sub-tree:
      * Avoid wasting IRQs on x86-64
      * Add security fixes from 2.6.12.4
      * Add workaround for K8 errata #122
      * Add support for more than 8 cores on AMD64 systems

 Again, the most important change to test is the Xen update. We hope it's
ok now and Gwenolé has uploaded the user-space tools to:

http://people.mandriva.com/~gbeauchesne/2006.0/xen/

 (you're interested in xen-3.0.2-2mdk).

 Also note that external modules won't work with this kernel. Unfortunately I
couldn't build it in the cluster's chroot2006, then I had to compile it in
a machine with a newer GCC...

 (To setup a fast compile environment for 2006 would take a while, and I had
to release this kernel today because of corpo4 people).

 Thanks!
