Hi there, I've updated the module-init-tools package to version 3.3-pre4 and it's now imported to SVN (thank you Boiko and misc).
Unfortunately there isn't an accurately changelog of the changes between 3.3-pre1 and 3.3-pre4, but the main changes between 3.2.2 and 3.3-pre4 is the addition of configuration file support to depmod (man depmod.conf) and tons of bug fixes.
