The sound from the internal microphone is not routed properly as it only records amplified static noise. As there is no specific info for this model in hda_intel, I have tried forcing all the models listed in http://www.kernel.org/doc/Documentation/sound/alsa/HD-Audio-Models.txt for this codec. However, none of them were able to route sound correctly. I have verified that the microphone works properly under Windows in the same computer.
