Public bug reported:

I have an HP Pavillion dv7 and Kubuntu 12.04. I performed update and
upgrade of the system and linux-generic, linux-headers, linux-image,
linux-libc-dev changed from 3.2.0.77 to 3.2.0.79 version. After that my
soundcard is not recognized (obviously I get no sound). I can not find a
way to reverse this upgrade.

** Affects: linux (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
