Rebooting the machine makes the wireless driver work again (for a little bit anyway). I haven't checked if it's related to suspend/resume, but I use this a lot. I can try bisecting for a kernel which doesn't have this problem, although between when I started having problems, I upgraded to Vivid (which didn't fix the problem.)
