Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  After upgrading to:

  PHP 5.5.9-1ubuntu4.12 (fpm-fcgi) (built: Aug 13 2015 22:37:19)

php5-fpm keeps crashing every time a php page is accessed:

  kernel: [ 142.905702] traps: php5-fpm[1565] general protection ip:6c5a71
sp:7fff73fcf6b0 error:0 in php5-fpm[400000+7fe000]

sp:7fff73fcf6b0 error:0 in php5-fpm[400000+7fe000]

  Ubuntu version: Ubuntu 14.04.3 LTS

  Package version:
  php5-fpm:
    Installed: 5.5.9+dfsg-1ubuntu4.12
    Candidate: 5.5.9+dfsg-1ubuntu4.12
    Version table:

          100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

  Nginx in use:
  nginx:
    Installed: (none)
    Candidate: 1:1.8.0-8.5.0.20~trusty1

As a result I'm unable to render any php page.

Kernel in use: Ubuntu 3.13.0-33.58-generic 3.13.11.4

php5-fpm doesn't report any issue in its log file, everything is trapped at
the kernel level.
Please let me know what type of additional info you might need to investigate
this issue.

  Thank you
