Thank you, Jukka, for your information!

After I read your comment, I contacted the Acer-Support and described the
problem. Also I told them the procedure to solve the problem, how you
explained. The support asked me to send them my computer for repairs.
Today I got the computer back with the note, that they changed the touchpad
from another manufacturer and upgraded the BIOS.

If the problem will come back, I will write a comment in this bug-report
again. But untill now it works fine, and I hope too, that it will keep
going on this way!

Best Regards,
Chris

Title:
[Acer Aspire V3-371] Sometimes, cursor jumps around if touchpad is in
  use

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Triaged

Bug description:
If using the touchpad, the cursor jumps around on the screen. It seems
to me that there are also some events (like clicks) that get fired.

This issue can be worked around by disabling and enabling the touchpad
(pressing Fn+F7 twice) but it will reappear after a certain amount of
  time.
