Hello Penalvch,
yes let us recap.
I did not have any freezes before upgrade to Wily.
All had been running smoothly for a couple of months on Vivid Vervet.
As you saw I have been moving from libavcodec-ffmpeg-56 to
libavcodec-ffmpeg-extra56 (I reverted that later).
Something went wrong with ffmpeg: the bug submission is issue of an automated
submittal.
I can't recall if the installation extra56 did not run smoothly due to a freeze
BUT
if the automated submittal worked, then Wily was not been affected by a freeze
just then.
As I was not much concerned at the time I was considering deleting the bug
submission.
Then it happened: Wily froze during video playback. I was not expecting a
kernel issue as all ran well during Sept and Oct.
I tested for the issue with the upstream kernel too as you saw and requested.
So I wasn't expecting the Kernel to be the issue, I intend try and capture the
crash with 4.3.0.
On the other hand I am running 3.19.0-32-generic and in the past few days I am
not experiencing any issues.

I saw the "Automatically generate crash reports for debugging" update an
accepted the install.
Is this > please capture the crash via
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingSystemCrash
still relevant?
