When it happens my computer doesn't respond to any input (keyboard or mouse), SysRq doen't work as well. If I reconnect my usb mouse, led on it doesn't light up. The only option is to hard reboot via power button. I am running 64bit Ubuntu 13.04 on an Acer Travelmate 7750G notebook. Possibly related: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1174275 because the desciption of the problem is very similar and I have the same wireless card, but it's said that I should file a new bug.
