Network manager doesn't seems to change its status, as well as my IP address still remains but OS doesn't ping. The only solution is to reboot the system and wait for next network hang (I tested that just few commands via ssh lead to the issue). To fix this I launched the following command and reboot the system: $ echo "options rtl8723be fwlps=0 ips=0" > /etc/modprobe.d/rtl8723be.conf ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 14.04 Package: linux-image-3.19.0-25-generic 3.19.0-25.26~14.04.1 [modified: boot/vmlinuz-3.19.0-25-generic] ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 3.19.0-25.26~14.04.1-generic 3.19.8-ckt2 Uname: Linux 3.19.0-25-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 2.14.1-0ubuntu3.11 Architecture: amd64 Date: Sat Jan 9 00:28:20 2016 InstallationDate: Installed on 2016-01-08 (0 days ago) InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 14.04.3 LTS "Trusty Tahr" - Beta amd64 (20150805) ProcEnviron: LANGUAGE=it TERM=xterm PATH=(custom, no user) LANG=it_IT.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash SourcePackage: linux-lts-vivid UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1532357/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~kernel-packages Post to : kernel-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~kernel-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
