Hi Chris, I think there are many people out wanting to help but the described process is not only longish but error prone and people are more than likely to fail which will end the life of their beloved operating system, so they dont even start doing it. So do I. And This going to be the case forever, unless some automated kernel testing tool has been developed which guarantee that there is a fallback case to the stable kernel. I wish someone, especially at ubuntu, have recognized it and develop such a tool. It would trendously increase your feedbacks on a request you just sent me. Cheers Lev
