Ubuntu's Display settings utility does show the two monitors when I have both ports plugged up, but any attempts to display, to both, fails with a dialogs that weirdly flows down my screen while Ubuntu tries to automatically attempt to make it work at numerous resolutions. This is why I purchased the SIIG USB 2.0 to VGA Pro. I thought it would have its own little video card built-in, and give me what my laptop's own video card lacked. I realize that USB will be slower, but that's not a concern for the simple business application that I intend to display on a 3rd monitor.
