  Among other updates was kernel 3.8.0-31.46
  After updating and rebooting I get grub, select ubuntu as always, then 
instead of going to the unity-greeter login screen I just get a black screen 
with a blinking cursor in the top left and a mouse cursor i can move around.
  If I press CTRL-ALT-F1 and login i can write “sudo service lightdm 
--full-restart" and then I get login screen and everything is normal.
  If I use the previous kernel 3.8.0-30 everything works like normal.
