Traced it down to a hardware problem. There was dirt between the key's
rubber padding and the main board. For some reason, after cleaning the
'home' key the others sprang back into life.

Title:
Several keys on Logitech keyboard not recognized
Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
Using the Logitech K800 wireless keyboard and on Ubuntu 16.04 with the
4.4.0-34 kernel, the 'home' key is not recognized, ie. nothing happens
when pressed. This is confirmed when running the 'xev' utility and
pressing the 'home' key, xev does associate any events with the key.
Upon testing other keys under xev I have discovered that the 'F5',
'F7' and 'F9' function keys are also not recognized.
This bug was not present in the previous 14.04/10 versions of Ubuntu.
