It seems this bug has allready been adressed here:

I have tested it on my asus x556uak laptop and it works.

Hello,
Asus X556U the touch pad is recognized as a PS/2 mouse, so so touchpad
options or features. Also the sensitivity is horrible, causing the
click to activate constantly when typing.
