Tested with 4.10.0-041000rc2-generic. Still did not work. Camera light comes on, but image on cheese screen is black. If I go to Cheese preferences, I see Device as "Lenovo EasyCamera" but the dropdown menu is greyed out and I can't select it.
Running [vlc v4l2:///dev/video0] gives me the video light, but VLC shows me the orange cone instead of any video. Running [mplayer tv:// -tv driver=v4l2:width=640:height=480:device=/dev/video0] gives me a bunch of repeated error messages as follows: v4l2: select timeout [mjpeg @ 0x7fe16d767100]No JPEG data found in image Error while decoding frame!
