Image on my HiDPI 4K eDP screen (HP zbook 15) is flickering since I
upgraded my kernel to 4.4.0-59.
With 4.4.0-53 kernel, everything is ok.
I have try :
- 4.4.0-59
- 4.4.0-62
- 4.8.0-36 (from linux-generic-hwe-16.04)
All of us make my eDP screen flickering when it was alone. Because the
amazing things is here : when my laptop is docked and get two other
screen (one fullHD and one 2K), everything get back to normal. Even on
my eDP 4K screen !
I don't know how to know where the problem come from. Kernel ? radeon.ko
? xorg-video-radeon ? Gnome Shell ? Is amdgpu.ko usable ? How to test it
? ... need help.
