The bug continues after kernel upgrade. Perhaps in lesser frequency. Just now, after some OKULAR work, the pointer got stuck. Closing the lid (that puts the computer into suspend mode) and then opening again repairs the pointer motion.
Does that indicate that some buffer needs to be cleared, or some loop must stop looping? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1675390 Title: touchpad stops responding erratically Status in linux package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: Hardware: Dell XPW 13 2016 model no. 9360 Touchpad DLL075B:01 06CB:76AF Touchpad OS KUBUNTU Description: - The tochpad works ok for a while, then after some time it stops responding to finger input. - There seems to be a correlation bwetween the touchpad failure and a running a heavy program, like LIBREOFFICE. - Plugging in an extenral mouse is a solution (of sorts). - After a while the touchapd resumea normal activity.
