Thanks for the helpful link. I tested the kernel v4.11 and this fixes the 
issue. Now, the Display is also running at 60 Hz (not 30 as it was before).
There are still some minor errors in kernel.log when plugging In/Out but 
everything seems to work.

  Kernel freeze when plugging in external monitor via USB-C->DP-Adapter

Bug description:
  When plugging in/out my external monitor (Acer B286HK) via an USB-C ->
  DP Adapter, there is a great chance, that the computer completely
  freezes. SysReq-Keys are also not working.

  
  I added a kernel.log where you can see the boot-up after one crash, than 
plugging In/Out the monitor several times till a new complete freeze.

  The graphics-card is the internal one of Core(TM) i7-7500Uin of the
  XPS13 MLK (9360).
