Here is vid of one flickerty session.

It is itermittent. Some boots will be fine. Othes will be full scree
flickering of verbose code. In this vid it is one small flash and
several cursor flashes between plymouth and gdm login screen.

  upon reboot monitor came up with flickerty screen

Bug description:
  After the  upgrade of kernel and reboot the VT went black with one
  line of verbose code  then started to flash  with full screen of code
  at least 6 times , top down, bottom up. Then gdm screen and was able
  to logon.
