  NVIDIA: Failed to initialize the NVIDIA kernel module.

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  This issue is in linux-image-4.13.0-17-generic

  the older kernel does not have the issue  linux-
  image-4.13.0-16-generic

  kernel

  The nvidia setting and driver are the same. Reinstalling nvidia-387.22
  did not fix the issue.
