Confirmed to be not working on upstream kernel v4.15!
My ethernet adapter also stops working on upstream kernel v4.15, but I guess
that's another issue.

Ethernet controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL8111/8168/8411
PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet Controller

Thank you for putting in the good work kind sir :)
