Public bug reported:
I tried to upgrade von ubuntu-budgie 17.10 to 18.04 directly. extremly
slow installation, on reboot it took minutes to start up, login led to a
black screen and a few minutes later took me back to the login screen.
after this i tried a full clean install first formatting my root-
partiton only (same experience as before) and then also erasing my home-
partiton. still the same problems.
I tried two different iso's, I tried to boot from two different usb-sticks, I
even tried the 32 bit instead of the 64. Always painfully slow installation
(virtually taking 2 to 3 hours) and impossible to work with.
Last guess was, that my computer war broken; but the reinstalled ubuntu-budgie
17.10 - working like charm.
