Title:
Touchpad is not detected in 'Asus GM501GS'

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
I bought a new laptop Asus GM501GS, and the touch-pad is not working.
I tried adding i8042.reset, i8042.nohup, etc. And nothing worked.
Besides, when installed Ubuntu, the touch-pad also stopped working in
  BIOS and Windows.

When I delete Ubuntu partition and fresh install Windows again. Touch-
  pad starts working properly.
