Title:
  touchpad not detected

Status in linux package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
I'm unable to get the name of the touchpad on system. And, I'm unable to copy
text as well to support investigation on this bug-report. The following
bug-report was the closest to my issue. However, I tried to use the patched
kernel (mainline 4.17.0-1-generic) but it didn't fix my problem.
  https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1728244

I tried updating the GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT wit i8042.reset and
i8042.nomux, but it didn't work as well.

I'm using Ubuntu 18.08 LTS on a tablet PC that came preloaded with windows
10. The device is called Cherry ZE55L, it's very close to Chuwi products.
