Title:
EGL not working, nvidia 390.30-0bubuntu1 amd64, ubuntu 16.04.4 LTS
Status in nvidia-graphics-drivers-384 package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
This appears to be the same problem mentioned in Bug #1731968 for
nvidia-384. I had mentioned this on NVIDIA developer forums for 384:
https://devtalk.nvidia.com/default/topic/1026510/simple-egl-example-
fails-ubuntu-16-04-/#5222936
Same problem occurs in 390.30. A valid OpenGL context is apparently
not being created by the EGL setup.
