Thanks, that's great news! I let my colleague know that there's a BIOS update out for the X1 carbon. I've already passed the argument to the kernel, but I've also had to disable the sd-card reader to actually get the machine to use this new type of sleep.
That being said, s0i3 still seems to consume a lot more energy than true S3 sleep to ram. So I'm glad that lenovo is listening and bringing the 'real' suspend back. Let's hope that they'll do it soon for the yoga too! Am Sa., 29.
