Bug description:
  The display flickers several times per minute after the 2.6.32-24.42
  kernel update. This is extremely tirying for the user.

  I'll try to test with the latest mainline kernel as soon as I get

  Booting on 2.6.32-23 (still installed) instead makes the problem go
  away.
