VFIO/MDEV(mediated device) is based on VFIO to provide a generic framework for mediated devices simulated by a real physical device. Current vfio/mdev doesn’t implement full iommu support. With scalable mode supported by IOMMU hardware, each mediated device could be isolated and protected by IOMMU. Hence all IOMMU ops could be handled in vfio/mdev (no dependency on the parent device). 7bd50f0cd2fd 8ac13175cbe9 be068fa236c3 Target Release: 19.10 Target Kernel: 5.2 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/intel/+bug/1835334/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~kernel-packages Post to : kernel-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~kernel-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
