On ThinkPad T530 with 3.11.0-14-generic I have a non-blinking LED. So for me this bug is not reproducing.
cat /sys/module/iwlwifi/parameters/led_mode 0 Looks like 0 it's some 'system default' value parm: led_mode:0=system default, 1=On(RF On)/Off(RF Off), 2=blinking, 3=Off (default: 0) (int) It's unclear for me how can I determine (and change) this default value. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/894560 Title: Kernel 3.2: Please set 'led_mode' parameter of module iwlwifi to 1 Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: With kernel 3.2 the Wi-Fi led in my ThinkPad T510 started to blink on data transfer, which is highly annoying. Please consider setting the 'led_mode' parameter of the iwlwifi module to just indicate whether the adapter is enabled or disabled (= 1), like it used to in the past.
