Hi makitso, We had some more discussion on backporting current iwlwifi support work. Basically all the related work, bug 1809224/bug 1833065/bug 1834415/bug 1835879/bug 1845138, has been(or will be) landed to oem-osp1 kernel, and bug 1809224 alone has around 150+ patches backported. While oem-osp1 kernel[1] is actually based on Disco generic kernel and it's also available in Disco, we should recommend users to use oem-osp1 kernel in this case instead of doing duplicated work. So, I'm closing this issue and other similar ones as WONTFIX. Thank you.
For Eoan users, there should not be any problems as Eoan generic kernel is following kernel v5.3.
