Due to the nature of the issue I have encountered I am unable to access
my laptop while running this kernel. I can't login and the screen is
black! So there is no way I can run my laptop with it, let alone access
a terminal window.

I installed the new kernel 5.3 but found a black screen at startup.
Had to remove it and go back to the 5.0 kernel.
